Roundup - Week 6

 

8th grade

Tier 1

 

Dylan Damiani scored the winner 47 seconds into the third period as Lynnfield edged Westford 2-1; Ovaglietta and Maccin scored 1:26 apart late as Windham nipped Westford 2-1; Daley and Pierce both scored twice in North Reading’s 6-1 victory over Lynnfield; and Parriera dished out four assists, Yang had a goal and two assists, M. and K. Belleville both posted 1-1-2 and Bierworth came within 1:35 of a shutout as Chelmsford defeated Storm 78 6-1.

 

Tier 2

 

Colin Underwood scored twice and Drew Duross had a goal and an assist as Dracut downed Winthrop 5-2, McLean scored twice and Martin and Shinopulos assisted on both in Burlington’s 5-1 victory over Woburn; Matt Poirier and No. 47 scored 1:12 apart in the second period as Cambridge shaded North Andover 2-1; and James Naylor scored two goals and set up two others, Charles Demeo delivered two goals and an assist and Renby Fernald a goal and a helper in Bedford’s 8-4 win over Sanborn – Barone with two goals and Hayes two assists in the loss.

7th grade

Tier 1

 

Seamus McMakin scored two goals and handed out two assists, Nolan Jennings had two goals and an assist and Keith Singleton a goal and two assists in Burlington’s 8-5 victory over Wakefield – Nate Brissette with a hat trick and Cam DiPrizio three assists in the loss; Colby Savageau pitched a shutout and Tom Titone scored in the second period as Salem edged Methuen 1-0; and Gagnon scored twice and Irving scored the winner with six minutes left as Triton trimmed Billerica 5-3.

 

Tier 2

 

Kendrick Tam wore the hat, Sam Karp scored twice and Eamon Gormley had two assists in Newton’s 7-4 win over Chelmsford; and No. 47 scored with 36 seconds left to give the LS Jr. Warriors a 4-4 tie with Saugus – Kirk with two goals and an assist for the Warriors and Calder two goals for Saugus.

 

Tier 3

 

Billy Shanley wore the hat and added an assist, his third goal and a Cam Lajoie goal coming 1:25 apart midway through the third period as Timbelane edged Bedford 5-4 – Andy Scoville with two goals in the loss; Kagen Langlois scored five goals, including an early natural hat over 4:50, Ethan Peluso had a goal and two assists and Bobby Hanway pitched a shutout in Windham’s big win over Exeter; and Nassar had two assists as North Andover trimmed Everett 3-1.

6th Grade

Tier 1

 

Jacoby Patterson wore the hat and handed out three assists, Andrew Mullen scored twice and Brendan Modeski had a goal and an assist as Dracut got by Arlington 6-4 – Sean Patterson with a goal and three assists in the loss; McElroy scored twice, McWhinnie posted 1-1-2 and Shanahan two assists as Burlington topped Wakefield 7-2; and M. Baldassere’s second goal of the game snapped a 4-4 tie with 9:30 left as Danvers trimmed Methuen 6-4 – Christian McCarthy with 1-1-2 in the win and Gavin Henry two assists in the loss.

 

Tier 2

 

Phil Rotundo, who also had an assist, scored the winner with 2:58 left and Aiden Titcomb scored twice as Medford got by Chelmsford 4-2;, Nos.3 and 91 both had 1-1-2 as Lexington edged Salem 3-2 – Elliot Chisholm with both goals in the loss; No. 77 wore the hat, Colin Fidler had two goals and an assist, Erik DiPlacido also scored twice and Cam Casey had two assists in Beverly’s 10-3 victory over Stoneham – Bryce Leonard with a hat trick in the loss; and No. 86 scored six goals as North Andover edged Reading 7-6 – No. 9 with a goal and an assist in the loss.

 

Tier 3

 

JJ Avery wore the hat and had an assist in Lynn’s 6-2 win over Beverly; Allen scored two goals and handed out three assists and Cataldo also posted two assists in Billerica’s 9-3 victory over Cape Ann; and Josh Trudel scored twice as Windham downed Cape Ann 4-1.

5th Grade

Cam Donegan scored with 36 seconds left to give Wakefield a 3-2 decision over the Chiefs; No.5 scored the tying goal with 5:09 left and Aidan Kenney had two goals and an assist as Chelmsford tied Amesbury 4-4 – Evan Murphy with a hat trick for Amesbury; and Dan Hanafin scored five goals and set up another, Brandon DeRosa scored two goals and dished out four assists, Owen McGowan and Nick Johnson both scored two goals and assisted on three others, Codey Serra also had three assists and Shayla Kocur and No.34 both posted 1-1-2 in Burlington’s big win over Bedford
