Roundup - Week 8

 

8th grade

Tier 1

 

Jack Nelken and Matt Mulhern scored early in the third period to give Westford a 2-1 decision over Chelmsford; Scoppettuolo wore the hat and Rosa had a goal and an assist in Lynnfield’s 7-2 victory over Chelmsford; and Orlando posted a goal and an assist as the Storm 78 downed North Reading 6-3.

 

Tier 2

 

Winthrop won twice. Phil Boncore and Mike Holgersen both scored their second goals of the game in the third period and Petey Silverman dished out three assists in a 4-3 win over Cambridge, Allan White with a goal and an assist in the loss – and Andy Jackson scored twice in a 4-3 decision over Sanborn, Larcome with a goal and an assist in the loss;

 

James Naylor and Blake Stuzynski both scored twice in Bedford’s 4-1 victory over North Andover; McEleney handed out three assists as Woburn trimmed Bedford 4-2; and Andriolo scored twice, Martin had a goal and an assist and MacLeod pitched a shutout in Burlington’s 6-0 victory over North Andover.

7th grade

Tier 1

 

Cam Shanahan pitched a shutout and Luke Pazzia scored early as Burlington downed Salem 2-0; Dan Viscione and No. 3 both clicked for two goals and an assist and Cam Penti set up two goals in Billerica’s 6-1 victory over Burlington; Hersey and Gagnon both scored twice and Kutcher had two assists as Triton trimmed Wakefield 6-4 – Trevor Veilleux with three assists and Nate Brissette two goals in the loss; and Kneeland and Robinson both scored twice in Methuen’s 5-2 win over Billerica – Luke Teta with a goal and an assist in the loss.

 

Tier 2

 

Jackson Burdick and Tyler Muse both scored twice and Joe Smith pitched a shutout as Melrose stopped Amesbury 6-0; and Jack Sheehan and Declan Crowley both had a goal and an assists in Chelmsford’s 4-1 triumph over Saugus.

 

Tier 3

 

Billy Shanley, who also had an assist, scored his second goal of the game with 8:47 left and Andrew Seamans then came through with 6:57 remaining to give Timberlane a 4-3 decision over Westford – Peter Burns with a goal and an assist in the loss; Charlie Siciliano scored twice in the first period and James Nichol had a goal and an assist as North Andover scored a big win over Melrose.

Tier 1

 

Will MacClaren wore the hat and Andrew Bolton and Gavin Henry both scored twice in Methuen’s 8-1 victory over Wakefield; Zack Grenier scored two goals and set up another, Cooper Dunham also scored twice and M. Baldassere had two assists as Danvers downed Arlington 8-2 – William Greable and Sean Patterson with 1-1-2 apiece in the loss; and Ryan McLeary had 1-1-2 as Burlington edged Dracut 3-2.

 

Tier 2

 

Jack Melly wore the hat, Cole Callew scored twice, Evan Manfredi had a goal and an assist and Jack Farrell two assists in Brookline’s 7-2 victory over Chelmsford; Donnelly and Krasco both scored twice and Taranto and No. 2 both posted 1-1-2 in Stoneham’s 6-2 win over Medford; Brody Chisholm scored two goals and set up two others to lead Salem to a 5-3 win over Beverly – Mills with two goals and Bowen two assists in the loss; and Gavin Callahan scored with 4:37 left to give Lexington a 2-2 tie with North Andover – Zach Sheehy with both goals for North Andover.

 

Tier 3

 

In the only game, Caden Carney and Luke Allen both scored twice in Billerca’s 7-3 victory over Winchester – Martino with two goals in the loss.

 

Tier 4

 

Louk Belghiti wore the hat and Bertie Kline and Nate Trafton both scored twice in Winthrop’s 11-6 victory over Manchester-Essex – Tim Patrick and Nick Rinaldi with a goal and an assist apiece and Anthony Brown two assists in the loss; Polcaro scored twice and Rahwati scored what turned out to be the winner with 4:45 left as the Crusaders got past Marblehead 5-3 – Finkle with 1-1-2 in the loss; and Maddie McGann clicked for two goals and an assist, Olivier Ouellet also scored twice and Jesse Rich pitched a shutout as the Warriors scored a big win over Beverly.

5th Grade

Cam Donegan scored twice and Kevanni Marroquin had a goal and an assist in Wakefield’s 5-2 victory over Bedford; and Cam Coppen wore the hat and Aiden Cink and Vann DiLorenzo both had two goals and an assist in Amesbury’s 8-3 win over Merrimack Valley – No. 69 with two goals in the loss.
